Terms and Conditions Summary

General Resort Details

  • Self Contained Units – Our Villas and Beach Shacks are designed to be your holiday home away from home. To hlep you settle in the moment you arrive, we provide a complimentary starter kit of essentials, including dry roasted coffee, tea, dishwashing and laundry cleaner, and basic bathroom toiletries.
  • Should you require additional supplies for longer visits, we suggest either bringing some extras from home or visiting our local Foodworks situated conveniently in the middle of Point Lookout, just minutes away, allowing you to stock your supplies exactly to your preference.
  • Our Villas – Experience true island-style living in our Pavilion Villas. These unique, self-contained units feature separate living and sleeping pavilions connected by open-air walkways or private decks, offering unparalleled privacy and a seamless connection to nature.
  • Note for Families: Due to the physical separation between the primary and secondary bedroom pavilions, this layout may not be suitable for families with very young children who require close proximity or internal hallway access.
  • Our Shacks – Our Beach Shacks offer a playful, vertical take on coastal living. Downstairs, you’ll find an open-plan living area that flows seamlessly onto an elevated private deck—the perfect perch for morning coffee or sunset drinks.
  • Inside, an internal staircase leads you to a cozy mezzanine retreat featuring a plush Queen bed. Because of the open loft design and the staircase, these shacks are a dream for couples and solo adventurers, but they may not be the best fit for those traveling with toddlers or guests with limited mobility.

Security Bond & Eligibility

  • Security Bond: A minimum $500 security deposit may be required upon check in. This is a “pre-authorisation” on your credit card and will be released after a satisfactory post-stay inspection.
  • Student Policy: Allure Stradbroke Resort does not allow school aged students to occupy properties unless at least one suitable parents/adult stay for the entire duration of the rental.
  • No Unsupervised Youths: Our properties are not equipped to provide a safe environment for unsupervised students. Any online bookings found to be for unsupervised youths will be cancelled and all payments forfeited.
  • Statutory Declaration: As the person making the booking, you may be required to sign a legal declaration confirming guest details.

Property Care & Conduct

  • Strict No-Party Policy: All properties managed by Allure Stradbroke Resort are for private domestic holiday use only. In-room functions, weddings, hens/bucks nights, and “Schoolies” celebrations are strictly prohibited.
  • Noise Curfew: Per Redland City Council guidelines, a strict quiet period applies from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please move indoors and close doors during these times.
  • Parking: Use designated parking areas only and one vehicle per carport or carpark.  Do not park on grass, gardens or neighbour access ways.  Failure to so do may incur call out fees or charges to repair garden areas.
  • Furniture: Please do your best to ensure furniture stays where it is intended.  Moving furniture can damage the piece itself and the timber floors at the same time.  Charges will apply for damage caused and relocation of furniture items.
  • Breakages and Damage: Notification of any breakages, loss, damages. Any costs associated with the above, caused by you or your invitees are required to be paid for by you.
  • Occupancy Limits: Only the number of guests agreed upon at the time of booking may stay. A maximum of 5 casual daytime visitors are permitted but may not stay overnight.
  • Smoking/Vaping: Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. Outside smoking must occur at least 3 metres from doorways, and all butts/vapes must be disposed of correctly. Any indication of indoor smoking will result in heavy professional cleaning charges. Neighbours must be considered at all times. No smoking/vaping on resort common property.
  • Anti-Social Behaviour: Drunkenness, obscene behaviour, or threats toward staff or neighbours will result in immediate eviction without a refund.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-In: Properties are available from 3:00 pm.
  • Check-Out: By 10:00 am. Late check-outs must be requested in writing and will incur a minimum half-day rate fee if not pre-approved.
  • Vacating the Property: Please ensure all windows and doors are locked, lights and air-conditioners are turned off, and keys are returned to our office.  Failure to do so may incur a fee should something avoidable occur, like mass condensation from air conditioners or damage from unwanted guests of the human or animal variety.
  • Cleaning: Properties must be left neat and tidy. Please wash all dishes, remove rubbish, and start the dishwasher. BBQs must be cleaned prior to departure; failure to do so incurs a $55 fee.

Payments & Cancellations

  • Fees: A non-refundable $50 booking fee applies to every booking. A 1.5% credit card surcharge applies to all payments (non-refundable in the event of cancellation).
  • Deposits:
    • High Season – A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid 60 days prior to arrival.
    • Low Season – A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy:
  • High Season
    • 60+ days notice: Refund of payments made minus the 50% deposit and credit card fees.
    • Less than 60 days notice: Non-refundable.
  • Low Season
    • 14+ days notice: Refund of payments made minus the 50% deposit and credit card fees.
    • Less than 14 days notice: Non-refundable.
  • Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Allure Stradbroke Resort cannot take responsibility for changes in circumstances, including ferry unavailability, weather events, or fires.

Maintenance & Emergency Calls

  • Equipment Failure: While we strive to fix appliances (AC, Wi-Fi, etc.) quickly, repairs can be delayed due to our island location. No refunds or discounts are given for the non-availability of these items.
  • After-Hours Emergencies: Call 0427 770 896.
  • Call-Out Fees: A $110 fee applies for lockouts or lost keys. A $55 fee applies for non-emergency calls (e.g., Wi-Fi issues, late check-out requests, or information already provided via email).

Pet Policy

  • General: While we understand that some of our family members are furry, guests are unable to bring family pets to the resort.  If you have a registered support dog that is lawfully allowed at all places, please reach out so we can discuss the most suitable accommodation option.

Breach of Terms/House Rules:
Any breach of these terms or our House Rules may result in immediate eviction with total forfeiture of the booking fee. Allure Stradbroke Resort reserves the right to deduct additional charges for security, cleaning, or repairs from your bond or credit card.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to change the wording, add to, delete or modify these terms and conditions and this could happen at any time for any reason. You are encouraged to read and understand these Terms and Conditions prior to booking and immediately prior to your arrival.
