Self-Contained Villas and Beach Shacks

We design our Villas and Beach Shacks to serve as your ultimate holiday home. To help you settle in, we provide a complimentary starter kit featuring dry-roasted coffee, tea, basic toiletries, and cleaning supplies. Because these are self-contained units, we recommend bringing extra supplies or visiting the Foodworks in Point Lookout (just minutes away) for longer stays.

The Pavilion Villas

Experience authentic island living in our Pavilion Villas. These units feature separate living and sleeping pavilions connected by private decks. Please note, however, that this layout may not suit families with very young children due to the physical separation between rooms.

The Beach Shacks

Our Beach Shacks offer a playful, vertical coastal design. While the downstairs open-plan area flows onto a private deck, an internal staircase leads to a mezzanine queen retreat. Consequently, these shacks are ideal for couples but may be unsuitable for toddlers or guests with limited mobility.


Security, Eligibility, and Guest Conduct

Security Bond and Student Policy

Upon check-in, we require a minimum $500 security pre-authorisation on your credit card. Regarding eligibility, Allure Stradbroke Resort maintains a strict policy:

  • Supervision: School-aged students cannot occupy a property unless a parent or suitable adult stays for the entire duration.

  • Cancellations: We will cancel any unsupervised youth bookings and forfeit all payments.

  • Legal: We may require you to sign a Statutory Declaration confirming guest details.

Respecting the Resort and Neighbors

To ensure a peaceful stay for everyone, we enforce the following rules:

  • No-Party Policy: We strictly prohibit functions, weddings, or “Schoolies” celebrations.

  • Noise Curfew: Please move indoors and close doors between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am per local council guidelines.

  • Smoking/Vaping: Smoking is prohibited indoors and on common property. You must smoke at least 3 metres from doorways and dispose of all waste correctly.

  • Anti-Social Behaviour: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for threats or drunkenness; such behaviour results in immediate eviction without a refund.


Essential Check-In and Check-Out Logistics

Timing Your Arrival and Departure

  • Check-In: Your property is ready from 3:00 pm.

  • Check-Out: Please vacate by 10:00 am. If you require a late check-out, you must request it in writing; unapproved late stays incur a half-day rate fee.

Vacating the Property

Before you leave, please ensure the property is secure. You must:

  1. Lock all windows and doors.

  2. Turn off lights and air conditioning.

  3. Return keys to our office.

  4. Clean the BBQ (failure to do so incurs a $55 fee).

  5. Remove all rubbish and start the dishwasher.


Payments, Cancellations, and Insurance

Securing Your Booking

Every booking incurs a non-refundable $50 booking fee and a 1.5% credit card surcharge.

  • High Season: Pay a 50% deposit now and the balance 60 days before arrival.

  • Low Season: Pay a 50% deposit now and the balance 30 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel, the following terms apply:

  • High Season: Notify us 60+ days out for a refund (minus 15% of total booking). Cancellations under 60 days are non-refundable unless we re-let the room.

  • Low Season: Notify us 30+ days out for a refund (minus 15% of total booking). Cancelations under 30 days are non-refundable unless re-let.

Furthermore, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, as the resort is not responsible for ferry cancellations or weather events.


Maintenance and Pet Policy

Equipment and Emergencies

While we strive to fix appliances like AC or Wi-Fi quickly, our island location can sometimes delay repairs. In an emergency after hours, call 0427 770 896. Please note that a $110 fee applies for lockouts, and a $55 fee applies for non-emergency calls regarding information already provided in your welcome emails.

Pet Policy

Although we love animals, pets are not permitted at the resort. However, if you travel with a registered support dog, please contact us to discuss suitable accommodation options.


Allure Stradbroke Resort reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We encourage you to review these conditions immediately prior to your arrival.
