Getting Here
All water taxis and ferries to the island leave from Toondah Harbour in Cleveland.
Vehicle and passenger ferries (water taxis) depart Cleveland regularly from early morning until evening, seven days a week. The journey takes approx. 50 minutes on vehicle ferries and approx. 25 minutes by water taxi.
For more information visit Stradbroke Ferries or Stradbroke Flyer.
All ferries arrive at the township of Dunwich on North Stradbroke Island. Sealed roads connect the three townships of Dunwich, Amity Point, and Point Lookout – and there’s not a traffic light in sight!
If you don’t bring the car, the local Straddie bus service meets the majority of water taxi services (some early morning & late evening services may be excluded) and transports passengers between Dunwich and Point Lookout. There is a bus stop at the front of Allure Stradbroke Resort. For more information visit Stradbroke Island Buses. The island also offers a taxi service. Stradbroke Cab Services can be reached via phone on 0408 193 685.
